Mets Baseball Cap Ornament

This is a blue cap with the orange NY, blown in glass and 3.5 inches across on the branch. It is the ornament a Mets fan notices from the other side of the room, and the one that comes back out of the box every December.

Is it glass or plastic? Glass. It is mouth-blown and hand-painted, which is where the depth and the shine come from. A molded plastic ornament cannot hold detail the same way, and it does not age the same way either.
