Chris played through college at Vermont. His son Tobey pitches for Masuk High School and travels with the Clubhouse out of Fairfield, Connecticut. They have driven across the country for Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report weekends, and everything in this store started as something they saw a player wearing or a gift a family actually wanted.
Tobey pushed his fastball to 93 before a torn UCL put him in Tommy John surgery. He is working his way back to the mound. We are still here picking gear in the meantime.

How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping runs 3 to 8 business days inside the continental United States. Shipping is free on orders over $75 and $7.99 under that. We do not ship internationally yet.
What can I put on a personalized bat?
A name, a number, a team, a season, or a short line of your own. You type it exactly as you want it engraved and we burn it into the barrel. Nothing is printed on, so it does not peel.
How long does personalization add?
Engraved pieces are made to order after you check out, so give them a couple of days on top of shipping. If you have a date you need it by, call us and we will tell you straight.
Do you carry gear in youth sizes?
Yes. Headbands, arm sleeves, wristbands and sliding mitts fit youth and adult players, and the shirts, shorts and batting gloves are sized on each product page.
Can I order for a whole team?
Yes, and it is worth calling first at 203-513-9076. Team orders on water bottles, wristbands and headbands are some of the most common things we make.
Who actually runs Batter Box Sports?
A father and son. Chris played through college at Vermont, Tobey plays high school and travel ball, and the two of them pick what goes in the store from what they see at tournaments.
